Adrift somewhere in the Andromeda Galaxy, this lush planet sits perfectly within it's stars Goldilocks zone. Civilization is just starting to flourish and life is plentiful. Unfortunately life on this world did not stand the test of time. In the next 10,000 years, soon after the atom was split, a global war was fought between the nations of this world. All life was exterminated in flash of atomic hell fire. Very much like the race whom call themselves "Humans" this race's greatest danger was not some foreign threat. It was itself.

This species made it to a Type I civilization before their extinction. They, like most species in the universe, did not survive past this crucial stage in their development. A sad fate indeed...

I really like how you varied up the stars here. I see a lot of paintings where the stars aren't as nice as this.

Looks great man. I think the shadow being cast by the small moon is a bit too strong on the planet, and the planets shadow could be a tad darker. Other then that, great textures and quality!
